If you’re looking to change for the better in 2019, feel your pain. This is the most simple advice I can offer. If you step on a nail, make sure you feel it, so you step off the nail. Pain is there to remind you what not to do. Pain is a guardian, not a goblin. This simple strategy for feeling your pain involves removing all sedation based substances from your life full stop. Caffeine, sugar, nicotine, alcohol, marijuana, narcotics, processed foods, wheat, milk and most medical drugs are PROVEN pain killers. Get brave and get ready to face your life, in its’ truest form. Ditch the fantasy and give reality a try. If your life is boring, repetitive, directionless, empty and meaningless right now……..wait until you remove the sedative pain killers from your daily habits. If you thought your life sucked before, wait until you feel your insane life in its’ full suckness. You won’t be able to stand it…..and that’s when you’ll finally change. Addictions and sedative substances TAKE AWAY our power to change and trap us in the lives we don’t want to be living. The moment I removed all addictions from my life is the day I said to myself, “this life is meaningless and it’s too painful to live in, so changing is the only option.” I felt my pain and made small changes that built “a better life”, which I have today. Feeling how much my life really sucked, really helped me obtain a laser like focus for the life I really wanted to be living. True story.
